News88 Blog Of The Day 02/06/2005: Your preference for a Republican Presidential Candidate in 2008's Election
Alright folks. Listen up. We are going to be doing a poll that will start 02/06/2005 and will end on 03/05/2005 at my blog news site here of the preference for whom you will pick, my surfers at this site which is YOU, on who the Republican Party, in your humble opinion, in my poll, should pick for the nomination in 2008? Here is our how on how we will work this poll in the instructions. The winner of the poll will be finalized as first place and will be finalized and sealed as the poll for President, and the runner up in second place will be finalized as my surfers' best choice for whom that running mate should pick for Vice President. And that will be the final ticket that my News88 team endorses for 2008 for the Republican Party of the United States of America. The 10 choices, and the poll is if you scroll down the bottom of this page in between the World Net Daily Headlines and the Buzzflash headlines, will be consisting of these 10 candidates (5 being moderate republicans and the other 5 being conservative republicans, as i believe firmly that the Republicans should unite both wings of their party with a moderate and a conservative.) Republican voters will have their choice, but anyone can vote in this poll, no matter if your Republican, democratic, or anything. I just want the choice of my news88 surfers as to whom they would like to see as the Republican nominee for President in 2008.
Dont Worry, Democrats preferences will be our March poll. And our April poll will be the General Election matchup, in which ill add the Green Party, Reform Party, Constitution Party, and the Natural Law Party (currently shut down its doors, but we will only list this as the name of the party as with all of the other minor parties. the Democratic and Republican tickets that we finalize after the February 2005 and March 2005 polls will be voted on against each other in our April 2005 poll.) However, I will add three more preferences rather you would like to elect a Libertarian, Libertarian Leftist, or Libertarian Rightie. That is in the general election poll of April 2005 only.
Alright here are the 10 Republicans (5 moderate republicans and 5 conservative republicans coming from either governorships and/or us senate seats currently in their current jobs by a majority.)
1. Former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani
2. Former PA Governor and Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge
3. NY Governor George Pataki
4. Colorado Governor Bill Owens
5. Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel
6. Tennessee Senator Bill Frist (and also Republican Leader / Majority Leader currently in the Us Senate)
7. Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney
8. Florida Governor Jeb Bush
9. Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman
10. Virginia Senator George Allen
*Note - Alright, My users can vote for a whole month. More Blog News Updates Tomorrow! And ill keep reminding users every day at the end of my blogs to vote in this poll until i close this poll on 03/05/2005. That gives you from the opening day of 02/06/2005. I closed all other startup polls before this one, because I would like to do this in the way the presidential choice process actually goes, that is a Republican primary/caucus season, to a democratic primary/caucus season (the party in power to the party out of power that is first), to a General election November Election on Election Day. that is all, and enjoy the poll, but do not get carried away. Take care from fpot Scot! :)
*Also, make your choice be a meaningful choice as to whom you think deserves The White House in 2008 in your own humble opinion. Do not just fumble through anything. Think the decision over carefully between the ten choices, then vote accordingly after you have thought.
